Haritaki contains Sennosides, known as stimulant laxatives, which are an effective treatment for relieving constipation and cleaning the colon. The process of waste elimination is assisted by Sennosides acting to retain water within the intestines, thus helping to dislodge water matter within the intestines. Sennosides can also be used to eliminate waste from the bowel before an examination or surgery.

– Avoid all things fluoride: Tap water, cooking with tap water, fluoridated toothpaste, inorganic fruits and vegetables, showers with out filter, red meat, and any sodas and artificial food and drinks. I know how difficult it can be to stick to only organic fruit and vegetable but it is important to start where you are and begin to make those changes where it is possible.
In Buddhism, where enlightenment is a primary goal, it is featured in pictures of the Medication Buddha. He is holding Haritaki in both palms. In one palm Haritaki is a component which gives eternal life, an incredible benefit. In Tibetan Buddhism Haritaki is part of nearly every medication. It is likewise acknowledged for its metaphysical powers, being referred to as “Supreme Nectar that Lights up the Mind”.

Haritaki is believed to be a helpful remedy for people suffering from overweight or obesity. This herb has appetite controlling abilities. It promotes digestion, cleanses the stomach, improves the metabolism of food and its assimilation in the stomach and also helps in increasing the metabolic rate of the body. As the metabolic rate increases, the energy expenditure of the body also increases. Haritaki also helps in the improved utilization of the stored fat in the body by increasing the secretion of bile. All these properties not only help in promoting weight loss but also help in maintaining a healthy weight.

It’s crucial to get some time away from the computers and constant distractions they bring. Getting hundreds of messages and ads per day makes us so distracted, and prevents us from seeing the wider reality that’s just around the corner. By going to a forest or into the mountains you can reconnect with your true being, and you should do it at least once every two weeks.
In Ayurveda, taste is considered a crucial part of the healing process. When you take triphala as a tea, not only are you choosing the most traditional Ayurvedic way of taking it, you're also kicking those taste buds into gear, helping to signal the digestive process, sending messages to the body about what to expect, and initiating your body's own inner pharmacy. This video will show you a step-by-step process (step by “steep” if you will!) on how to make a wonderfully supportive triphala tea brew of your very own.

I am 25 years old and I am having irritation over left PNS/face/nose. Also, there is some pain in left side of jaw and sometimes clicking sound while chewing. All this is happening since last 6 - 7 months. I have tried nasal sprays, steams, anti allergic etc but nothing seems to work. I am also using Shadbindu Tail for 2 - 3 months frequently along with Chitrak haritaki and Haridra khan. Medical history: In AUG 2017, I had a surgery for horizontally impacted lower wisdom tooth as well as the upper one.
Haritaki is a natural antibacterial and antifungal that can be used to treat bacterial overgrowths such as candida, H. pylori in the stomach and, bacterial overgrowth in the mouth too. The Ayurvedic Triphala is made by combining three medicinal herbs: Haritaki, Bibhitaki, and Amalaki. A study conducted by India’s Government Medical College and Government Dental College, tested 5 different forms of natural treatments for reducing E. faecalis, which is a very common bacteria found in the mouth and which is a cause of gum disease. The study concluded that the Ayurvedic Triphala was the safest and most effective way of eliminating E. faecalis, making this a promising treatment for prevention from dental cavities.
While the physiological function of the pineal gland has been unknown until recent times, mystical traditions and esoteric schools have long known this area in the middle of the brain to be the connecting link between the physical and spiritual worlds. Considered the most powerful and highest source of ethereal energy available to humans, the pineal gland has been seen as a gateway that leads within to inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness. Awakening the third eye acts as a “stargate.”
Haritaki works as an effective anti-inflammatory agent, when made into a paste with water and applied topically. It also functions as a strong analgesic that helps in relieving pain. This herb is helpful in promoting the faster healing of wounds, cuts and injuries. Haritaki has astringent properties that help in treating disorders like hemorrhoids.
My recommendation is that you check out a number of teachers from different traditions and see what resonates with you. One easy way to review the field available to you is to use YouTube. You can find many videos of different teachers, easily and quickly, and find which one resonates with you. If you need additional help, one suggestion is, at bedtime ask for a dream or clarity on which teacher is right for you. Many people report that using this method they have received clear and direct information on who to spend time with and what their next steps are. The way that a number of enlightened masters explain this is, that by exploring and meeting different enlightened masters you are collecting a bouquet of beautiful flowers. Each flower is different and unique. Having collected the bouquet, it is then useful to enjoy and smell the flowers. The next step is to spend time with one flower. Enjoying its benefits. This way you get the benefits of that teacher working on you in their unique way. They know what needs to take place within you, in areas that you are unaware of. If on the other hand, you do not spend time with one teacher but instead you mix and match teachers and techniques, you run the risk of choosing techniques that you like, and avoiding those that you actually need!
This blog only gives a simple sketch of haritaki—this is by no means comprehensive. We would very much enjoy whiling away the rest of the day discussing the many other qualities, actions, and mysteries of this super fruit, but discussing an herb only goes so far—haritaki can teach you far better than we ever could. Try it for yourself and witness the abundant benefits unfold in your own body-mind. How will you incorporate “the king of medicine” into your life? What will “the divine fruit” teach you?
– Magnets. Attaching a magnet (that sticks by adhesive) to the part of your skin above your 3rd eye (located between your two physical eyes but slightly higher or slightly above the eyes) for a few hours throughout the day will also stimulate the Pineal Gland and help to decalcify it. Magnets cause the body to become alkaline, especially the part of the body where the magnet is attached. Any strength (gauss) magnet will work, but only use magnets on the head area during waking hours. The energy from Ra (Sun) will magnify the strength of the magnet’s effect on the Pineal Gland.
Ayurveda is the science of excellent health that has been developed by the Rishis, sages, yogis and saints of India. There is evidence that this science was developed up to 7,000 years ago. In this methodology there are many approaches to healing, curing and increasing health. In fact, health is defined in ways that, in the West today, we would find extraordinary. The ultimate health is described as a one where we live to 300 years, health free, and with an enlightened consciousness. To achieve this, there are many recommendations.
“As a tonic for promoting and preventing the effects of age, chebulic myrobalan [haritaki] should be taken every morning with salt during the rainy season, with sugar in the autumn, with ginger in the first half of winter, with long pepper in the second half of winter, with honey in the spring, and with treacle in the hot months.”— Traditional Ayurvedic instruction21

This is where the clairvoyant observations of Paramahamsa Nithyananda come in. He says that he sees the effects of Haritaki on the brain. He witnesses the brain becoming clearer as the grooves of negativity in the brain are removed by the Haritaki. He says that the test is to take an IQ test one day before you begin to take haritaki, then take haritaki in the evening before bed, and take the IQ test the morning of the second day.He says that you will see an increase in results between the two tests.
